FRANCIS
A playful, spatial painting app for visionOS.
Created under the teaching of Joel Gethin Lewis.
Created in XCode using Swift and SwiftUI, Francis is a 3D spatial painting app for the VisionOS headset. Using custom Shader Graph Materials from Reality Composer Pro, with both time and geometry nodes, Francis allows users to draw strokes within an unseen volumetric window in the space around them. This was achieved with custom Hand Tracking using ARKit, focusing on pinch and drag gestures. A central AppModel also allows users to change colour, from a portable palette window UI, and size using a slider button.
